Just like a hospice, the Canadian Virtual Hospice provides information and support for physical, emotional and spiritual concerns related to death and dying.
  • Caregiver-connect – is a Canadian site for caregivers who provide hands-on care, assistance and emotional support to family members or friends who need them. The caregiver-connect web portal is run by the Victorian Order of Nurses (Von Canada), a national health care organization and a federally registered charity that has been caring for the lives and well being of Canadians in their homes and local communities since 1897. The site has a unique collection of information to better help and support caregivers in the vital caregiver role.

  • How to Care – A Canadian site to help caregivers manage the realities of caring for an aging parent, a chronically ill spouse or friend, and themselves.
  • Caring to the End of Life – a Canadian website developed by Princess Margaret Hospital and the University Health Network in Toronto.  The site provides information to anyone about palliative care for cancer patients.
